Join WITRON as a Master Data Specialist 

The Master Data Specialist is responsible for the following: maintaining a database of item parameters and ensuring our Automated Material Handling systems handle the items properly. The Master Data Specialist will constantly be monitoring and addressing changes in items to maintain database accuracy and serve as the key point of contact for employees experiencing issues with items. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Maintain data associated with approximately 5000 different items as well as setup of new items. 

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. 

  • Adjust machinery specifications/modes of operation to allow for more efficient handling of items. 

  • Exceptional organization skills. 

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff. 

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Develop new strategies and procedures to increase efficiency and enhance workflow. 

  • Coordinate with other departments and offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes. 

  • Submit reports that outline changes made to items. 

  • Other task as assigned. 

 

Education & Experience 

  • Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required 

  • Preferred: Associates Degree in IT related field is preferred.  

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 

  • 1 to 2 years of office and warehouse experience preferred. 

  • Information Technology Experience  

  • Strong IT systems knowledge and understanding 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Thorough knowledge and experience with the function and operation of WITRON systems 

  • Good troubleshooting skills 

  • Ability to analyze system data and provide recommendations 

  • Must be able to travel locally and internationally. 

  • Flexibility to work shifts as assigned 

 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to work at heights of 80-100 feet 

  • Ability to adapt to a warehouse environment with temperatures ranging from +34 degrees to -15 degrees 

  • Ability to lift and carry materials/equipment necessary to do the job 

  • Ability to walk/stand during a designated shift 

  • Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 pounds
