Your role in our team

  • Monitoring, operation, fault correction, and housekeeping of automated material handling equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and computer systems issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Maximise system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activitiesInvestigate and resolve system material flow issues.
  • Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.

Ideal candidate profile

  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude, with excellent fault finding and troubleshooting abilities
  • Familiarity with control technology (PLC / controls/ inverters) desirable
  • Previous experience maintaining material handling systems in a manufacturing environment, distribution centre, field service or a related technical role
  • Electrical or Mechanical Trade qualifications highly desirable
  • A genuine interest in automation and technology, with the aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shift work (including days, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays)
  • Ability to travel interstate or international for training
  • Ability to accurately identify colours including red, blue, white, yellow, and green
  • Meets the physical fitness requirements including:- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time- Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE)- Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted
