Are you a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician ready to take on the challenge of maintaining a state-of-the-art automated material handling system in a fast-paced distribution center? We are looking for a dedicated professional who prioritizes safety, thrives on maximizing system performance, and excels in both electrical and mechanical tasks.
Pay ranges between $33 - 36 per hour
WITRON offers premium shift differential pay for qualifying evening, night, or weekend shifts on top of the base pay and performance-based bonus opportunities that reward your hard work and dedication.
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you will:
- 
Approach all tasks and situations with a safety-first mindset, ensuring the well-being of yourself and your team. 
- 
Enhance system performance and minimize downtime through effective maintenance activities. 
- 
Engage in a wide range of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision. 
- 
Assist the production team with basic fault correction, coaching, and troubleshooting. 
- 
Aid in the installation of new components or the refurbishment of existing system components. 
- 
Drive continuous improvement activities through comprehensive system knowledge and site-specific enhancements. 
Requirements:
- 
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in industrial technology or related field, preferred. 
- 
Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of experience in a relevant electrical and/or mechanical role required, five (5) years plus preferred. 
- 
Strong skills in electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC, and 24V controls) and mechanical systems. 
- 
Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears). 
- 
Knowledge of control technology (PLC/controls/inverters). 
- 
Understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring techniques. 
- 
Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and proprietary system monitoring programs. 
- 
Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment is strongly preferred. 
Physical Requirements:
- 
Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing. 
- 
Working at heights of up to 80-100 feet while wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE. 
- 
Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
