Project Engineer
Join Our Team as a Project Engineer at WITRON!
Are you ready to take your construction management career to the next level? WITRON is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Project Engineer to lead our project coordination efforts on US Project sites. As the cornerstone of our team, you will work with various partners to ensure our projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Salary Range-$65-$90k
Your Role as a Project Engineer:
- Project Timeline: Establish and adjust project timelines in collaboration with departments and partners.
- Design and Planning: Drive the Detail Design process and oversee construction planning from client contract to automation system installation.
- Installation and Coordination: Manage all installation and construction aspects, coordinating with customers, general contractors, sub-contractors, and the WITRON onsite team.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary communication interface between our construction, logistics teams, and sub-contractors.
- Safety Champion: Conduct random checks of safety training and measures, ensuring compliance across all construction areas.
- Documentation Expert: Organize and verify acceptance documents of MHE installations, assisting the project team with the "Take Over".
- Site Support Specialist: Travel periodically to job sites, providing essential support to our onsite construction team.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: A BS in Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Project Management and Construction Expertise: A solid understanding of project management, construction, and/or industrial automation.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project).
- Communication and Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in construction management, project engineering, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Knowledge of German is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel frequently to locations across the United States and Canada.
